For the love of painting...

I know a lot of people love my line-work more than the painted stuff, but for me there's a degree of creativity and flexibility - and opportunity to grow in new, and different directions - offered by the digital painting that I simply can't replicate in the traditional methods. I find that really exciting, and I often can't wait to get to work when I'm doing it because it almost always surprises me, and line-work seldom does. It's not that I necessarily prefer the printed results - I like them equally - just that I enjoy the creative process more.
