Had beers with BKV and Garth Ennis last night. We are all incredibly appreciative of the times we have lived and worked in. Neither Garth nor I ever dreamed as kids that we would live and work in the US as a result of comics. Coming from humble backgrounds, we got into comics for comic's-sake - because we loved the medium. It was not for wealth or fortune or anything like that. The career did not promise such things back then. It was the wonderful medium itself that ignited our imaginations.

Very proud of both of their incredible achievements, and delighted to call them friends.
