StarHenge: Get the word out!

It's the last few days to get word out regarding StarHenge, my first Image Comics title, and a labour of love that has been percolating in my noggin for over 40 years. I've written it, and illustrated it, and even lettered it myself - with a few guest pages by my daughter, Matylda, in #2 - and it has been... well, how to describe it? Bloody hard comes to mind! I mean, really REALLY hard! I've felt lost in the reeds, or more accurately the threads of time at times! I've felt alternately liberated, and incredibly overwhelmed. It's sometimes flowed out of me like a wild creative river, and other times it's been a dry, stony riverbed, parched and gasping for life. I've worried that it's all a vast self-indulgent folly, and that it's no good at all. And I've been reassured by greater creators than myself that it's a triumph!

Whatever it is, I hope it does well enough to allow me to come back and make Book Two. I believe this is a big, long-form story, and that the true reward will come when the greater body of it is done. It's big enough to spawn many further stories, and I suppose my dream is to make this eventually an ongoing series that can contain all the creative whims this artist and writer would love to indulge. It's a big hope, and it needs you. Word still needs spreading, people still need to know about it, and more importantly, feel secure enough to back it at first blush, not wait for whatever post-publication murmuring there might be. Support is, as you know, our lifeblood.
